 As of now Latter Day Sitting is booked for full-time and part-time care for the Spring 2021 Semester (April-July). Babysitting is still open. Let us know if you need a night or afternoon off. Sorry for the inconvenience, we will update if a day care spot opens up.

Latter Day Sitting is an in-home childcare service providing both daycare as well as babysitting. Whether you need care for your kids during the week or simply an evening off, we have options for you!

Currently located in Rexburg, ID, we provide childcare for children from 2 months and older.

Once your application is submitted we will contact you to confirm hours and availability. We can set up a time for you to bring your kids over to get acquainted beforehand if you would like. We will confirm payment, discuss any special care for your child, dietary restrictions, or any thing else we need to know. Then we are all set and ready to go!

Rates

It can be difficult to know the price of childcare. As of 2020, the hourly rate of childcare in Rexburg ranges from about $10 - $25 an hour. Rates vary based on age, experience, and number of kids. Below is a chart of the hourly rates at Latter Day Sitting. 30 or more hours is full time care. We provide a multi-child discount.

About Me

Cailey Palilla is a wife and mother of one little boy. She has been working in childcare for over 10 years. She has babysat for many families over the years. She has worked in a daycare and worked as nanny for a few families. She is currently providing childcare in her home in Rexburg.

Cailey grew up in Oregon. She served a mission in the Independence Missouri Mission. She was married in the Portland Oregon Temple in 2017 and had her first child, Seth, in 2019. She enjoys drawing and has published 2 children's books, "ABC Curious Creatures" and "Curious Creatures Dinosaurs." She enjoys music and playing instruments. She loves the outdoors, hiking, climbing, rafting, camping, and exploring.

Though she loves caring for children, including her own, she is pursing a degree in software engineering. She has tutored many students in programming languages including, C++, HTML/CSS, and Python.
